We enclosed the front desk so it was a "room within a room," creating a more intimate and inviting atmosphere in the lobby. This allowed the space to feel more like a lounge, offering guests a relaxed environment where they could unwind without the sense of being observed. The hotel's design blends midcentury charm with a collegiate twist, inspired by its prime location near UCLA. Each guest room features thoughtfully crafted custom headboards and sleek minibar stations in a neutral palette (to avoid any hint of favoritism between schools).
